Valor Care LGBTQ+ is a third-party healthcare facility specializing in the healthcare needs of service-connected disabled LGBTQ+ veterans. We welcome all Veterans, families, caregivers, and survivor beneficiaries, including diverse gender identities and sexual orientations. “LGBTQ+” refers to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer identities. The “+” sign captures identities beyond LGBTQ, including but not limited to questioning, pansexual, asexual, agender, gender diverse, nonbinary, gender-neutral, and other identities. LGBTQ+ Veterans have faced stigma and discrimination, which can affect health. As a healthcare institution, we make sure that LGBTQ+ Veterans know that they are welcome at Valor Care LGBTQ+. Learn or improve your Spanish! At Med+Vets our Spanish teacher is trained to create a safe and welcoming space for even the most beginner students as soon as they enter the classroom.

Specialty Referrals

Specialty Referral is the series of health-related events beginning when a patient has an assessment of need for specialty care. The process encompasses communication and coordination between referring and consultant clinicians regarding tasks to be completed. The overall referral process results in a given resource utilization, quality, and outcomes for our patient.
